WALK THE MOON have announced a 13 city US headlining tour set for this fall. The band will kick off the tour in their hometown of Cincinnati, OH on November 1st and end in Denver, CO on November 28th. Family of the Year will act as support for the band. Tickets will be on sale beginning August 17th.
WALK THE MOON is currently on tour with Neon Trees and will then head to Europe to tour with FUN. Currently WALK THE MOON’s track “Tightrope” can be heard in HP’s new Envy4 commercial. “Tightrope” as well as “Anna Sun,” are from WALK THE MOON’s self titled RCA Records debut which was released on June 19th. “Finale” a song co-written by Madeon and Nicholas Petricca of WALK THE MOON was in heavy rotation on NBC’s Olympic coverage. The track also features Nicholas’ vocals.
Last week, the band appeared on MTV.com’s Unplugged which will air on Palladia on August 17th at 9:00 PM. The band was also featured as MTV’s Push Artist in June and has been VEVO’s Lift Campaign Artist, where fans were able to get to know the band through exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, video premieres and intimate live concerts.
WALK THE MOON is composed of lead singer, songwriter and keyboard player Nicholas Petricca, Kevin Ray (bass, vocals), Eli Maiman (guitar, vocals) and Sean Waugaman (drums, vocals).
