Members of FREX band | Eat Sleep Breathe Music

Today’s song is “24 Hours” by F R E X. F R E X hails from Iran and Austin, Texas. The duo has come together in LA to make their own brand of indie electronica. F R E X uses an array of instruments and samples of middle eastern sounds. This paired with the enchanting female vocals make for interesting and alluring music.

Their single “24 HRS” indirectly pokes fun at the typical pop anthem- depicting instead, the often mundane lives of the average working class cleverly juxtaposed by danceable beats and catchy melodies. This song has a flair of hip-hop on top of nice electronic beats. The addition of female vocals gives the track a mysterious haunting effect that is similar to Oh Land and Florence and the Machine.

F R E X is currently in the studio working on a full length EP for release early next year.
