Communion Presents is proud to announce its inaugural Fall Weekender, a weekend escape of live music at a beach side motel on the North Fork. Pack your bags and roll out east for two nights of Communion’s favorite live bands hosted at the iconic Sound View Inn just outside of historic maritime Greenport, NY!
Summer may be over but the sun will still be shining as Son Little, The London Souls, Hannah Gill & The Hours, and Lawrence take over the historic motel’s famous reception bar situated right above the shoreline of Long Island Sound.
Whether you road trip with all your friends or come solo a magical weekend awaits.
Communion and Sound View Inn have teamed up to bring some of today’s best young artists to close out the season. On Friday October 21, Lawrence will take the stage followed by Son Little. Saturday Night will feature Hannah Gill & The Hours followed by The London Souls. “We couldn’t be more excited to be working with Communion on hosting this great event,” said Erik Warner, partner at Eagle Point Hotel Partners, the parent company of Sound View Inn. “Communion has a rich history in working with and developing world class talent, and the North Fork is home to a vibrant creative community that welcomes artists with open arms. We see this as an opportunity for our community to enjoy this great line-up, and for the Communion family to enjoy the sights, sounds, and experiences Greenport has to offer.” The event marks one of the last events Sound View Inn will host before going under renovation and reopening in April of 2017.
The Sound View Inn is offering room packages that include access to the event in the price of the stay, and tickets will also be available online and sold at Sound View Inn the night of the event. Fall Weekender is sure to be something that the North Fork has not experienced before with the eclectic line-up that has been curated at the iconic Sound View Inn. “Working with Sound View Inn and introducing their spectacular location to the musical community is something we’re very proud to be a part of,” said Ian LaPlace, EVP of Communion Presents. “We have put a lot of thought into bringing this group of artists together for this one weekend, know that anyone who attends will thoroughly enjoy themselves.”
Tickets are on sale now for $10 each night. More information can be found here.

About Communion Music:
Communion Music is an artist-led organization that combines elements of live promotion, publishing and recording to create a hub for artists to develop and flourish. Founded in London in 2006 by musicians Ben Lovett (Mumford & Sons), Kevin Jones (Bear’s Den), and producer Ian Grimble, Communion has since worked with artists such as Ben Howard, Gotye, Michael Kiwanuka, Rubblebucket, Catfish and the Bottlemen and many more. Communion Presents – the live promotion aspect of the organization – produces events at venues with capacities ranging from 150 to 10,000.
About Son Little
Fresh off tours with Mumford & Sons and Leon Bridges, Son Little is ready to wow the Sound View Inn crowd. Son Little’s music evokes classic blues and R&B, but filtered through a modern day twist. His 2015 self-titled debut album released on Anti- Records is sure to please fans of Gary Clark Jr. and the Alabama Shakes. His timeless grooves and soulful vocals will be a truly memorable way to kick off the first night of the Fall Weekender.
About The London Souls
New York-based rock band The London Souls are a duo that bring the party. After playing Conan and gracing the Bonnaroo stage, they bring their Lenny Kravitz-flare wherever they go. We’re thrilled to have their tight arrangements of intricate guitar and pin-sharp percussion close out the final night of the Fall Weekender.
About Hannah Gill & The Hours
Hannah Gill & The Hours combines 70s lo-fi pop and rock with contemporary soul and blues and transforms them into sweet and sultry songs that overflow with feeling. Steered by soulful 18-year old vocal powerhouse and songwriter Hannah Gill combined with skilled guitarist, songwriter and arranger Brad Hammonds, the group offers up music with contagious melodies and wise lyrics.
Led by siblings Clyde and Gracie Lawrence, the New York-based soul-pop group blends old-school and new-school vibes to create a set of songs that sound as good on the record as they do at their high-energy live shows.
