The May 28th issue of Rolling Stone features the Summer Tour Guide 2009 and has included a mention about the much anticipated upcoming Blink-182 summer tour.
This tour will be a departure from the old days, bassist Mark Hoppus says the band is doing something different this time around; actually practicing.
“We used to walk on stage and forget our parts–we just wanted to play fast and look cool,” he says. “This time, we want to be more artistic.”
Fans will be glad to know the pop punk trio is planning to play their old hits along with a few new songs. Add an intense light show to the mix created by Daft Punk and Kanye West’s set designer, and the audiencewill definitely be in for quite the performance.
