Vampires Everywhere! formed in Los Angeles in 2009 by front man Michael Vampire, the band has quickly gained recognition for their innovative, epic sounds, which have been described as an infusion of music genres including screamo, dance, pop and hardcore. Inspired by the comic book Vampires Everywhere from the cult 1987 film The Lost Boys, Michael set out on a quest to find members for his band that could complete his vision for his music, which would feature his voice as a sonic weapon, slashing through each song with synth-driven vocals, venomous keyboard tones, assailing guitars, and dark brooding soundscapes.
Next Tuesday, February 9th, Vampires Everywhere! will release of their debut EP Lost in the Shadows. Produced by Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, The Darkest Hour, Senses Fail, The Bled), the first single and music video entitled “Immortal Love” was released exclusively on PureVolume on January 18, 2010. The video, directed by Scott Hansen (Alesana, A Skylit Drive, A Day To Remember) and features Trishelle Cannatella of MTV’s The Real World. In addition to the new album, Vampires Everywhere! will also be involved in a compilation album with Peta2 – an animal rights group involved heavily in the music industry.
Michael, the singer/guitar player is the founder of IKKE Metal Couture, which is sponsoring the artery foundation SXSW party. The clothing line has previously sponsored tours from Breathe Carolina, Watchout! There’s Ghosts, and more.
