Landing On The Moon Debut ‘We Make History Now’

Omaha, Nebraska’s Landing On The Moon released its debut album We Make History Now this week via the Young Love Records label, also home to popular indie artists Quitzow and Setting Sun.

The band’s profile has been increasing lately, having recently won a competition to appear at Omaha’s Maha Festival on the same stage as such indie rock luminaries as Spoon, Old 97’s and Superchunk. One of the songs Landing On The Moon performed at Maha was “California,” a brand-new song introduced as “a song called ‘California,’ but it’s about Omaha.” The track doesn’t actually appear on We Make History Now, and is being made available for posting, sharing and download HERE.

Continuing East to New York, Landing On The Moon performed a set at Lower East Side venue Pianos that was recorded by popular music website Radio. The entire set, including several additional new tracks not on We Make History Now, can now be listened to online at:
